Well I worked for let's say a year+ with Windows Server 2008 and thought it would be time to upgrade my MCSA 20003 to MCITP 2008 Server Administrator. Last couple of months/weeks I was learning my ass off (well much of the stuff I already knew because of the hands on experience on Windows Server 2008). Today the big day 70-646 exam and BANG I passed . Up to the next exam and my 2008 certification.

I'm working, well learning, to become a mcitp server administrator (MCSA 2003 to MCITP server administrator 2008)
It's just 2 exams the 70-646 which i'm learning now and the 70-648.

Well Server 2008 is out for a long time now and I'm deploying it more and more.
Training material is spreading around and as I deploy more Server 2008 servers I'm getting a good hand on experience.
This made me to decide it was time to search all training material that I could find and make a start to become a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator

Yep I did it I'm an Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA: Messaging on Windows Server 2003).
I'm very happy with my achievement this was my goal I wanted to be a MCSA.
Now that I'm MCSA I want more so I'm going to upgrade to MCITP Windows Server 2008

But here some info about my last exam that i took today, it was the 70-284 Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
The following study material I used for a nice score of 954

- Watched 1 time the Cbt Nuggets videos
- Did the Testout exams & simulations 3 times (I like sims)
- Watched the Trainsignal Exchange videos and used the Train Labs (Train Signal is the best!)
- Red the Transcender 1 time
- A lot of playing around in Virtual PC

I got 50 exam questions and no simulations.
In my opinion the questions have a lot and I mean a lot of text in the questions and offcourse some questions got some gotcha's

Well it finally happened after studying for 4 weeks of:

- Watched 2 times the Cbt Nuggets videos
- Did the Testout simulations 2 times
- Watched the Trainsignal DNS videos
- Red the Transcender 1 time
- A lot of testing and playing in Virtual PC

I did the exam at the 21st of September and passed with a good score of 980.
Have to say it wasn't that hard but maybe I studied too hard .
My opinion is that there is a lot of text in the questions but read them well some questions got some gotcha's

Now up to 70-284 Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and the last obstacle to MCSA title

Previously I told and thought to do the 70-291 but hey for MCSA you need XP 70-270 too and as I already got the 70-290 and it looks a bit like the 70-270 I thought hey first let's do the 70-270 and then the 70-291.
So today I made the Microsoft 70-270 Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional exam and passed with a score of 984. Unfortunatelly not 1000 but hey I made it.
So the second certification of MCSA is in the pocket.

Now I'm facing the beast 70-291 Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure for real.

Yesterday I made the Microsoft 70-290 Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment exam and passed with a nice clean score of 985.

The study material I used:

- CBT Nuggets
- Transcender
- Pass4Sure

Now I'm facing the beast 70-291 Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure.
